Standing Desk communicates directly with a compatible sit-stand desk from your iPhone over Bluetooth Low Energy.
Scope
This policy covers the Standing Desk iPhone app and this website. Apple and other services you choose to use have their own privacy policies.
Data collection
The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. It has no account, analytics, advertising, tracking, or server connection.
Data stored on your device
The app stores the selected desk identifier and name, height configuration, Sit and Stand presets, and safety acknowledgement on your iPhone. This information remains in the app’s local storage.
Bluetooth
The app uses Bluetooth to discover a compatible desk, read its height, and control movement while the app is open. Bluetooth communication is direct between your iPhone and the desk.
Website delivery
This static website has no accounts, forms, analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. When you visit it, the hosting provider can process your IP address and basic technical request data to deliver and protect the site.
Deleting data
Use Forget Desk to remove the selected desk. Delete the app to remove all locally stored app data. This does not change data stored by Apple or other services outside the app.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect data from children or any other users.
Changes
This policy will change if a future release changes how the app handles data. The effective date above identifies the current version.
